A bridge, also called a fixed partial denture, is a restoration anchored to at least two teeth, allowing one or more missing teeth to be replaced. It is possible to rehabilitate from a minimum of three teeth up to the entire dental arch. The supporting teeth consist of total crowns. This prosthetic solution, once very widespread, is now used particularly for small bridges while in the absence of many teeth, implantology is preferably used to create small bridges.
